I will be part of a group show at the GAB Studio gallery in the Wynwood District in the month of July. The opening reception takes place on Saturday, July 10 from 7 pm – 11:00 pm. I’m proud to be exhibiting with Jay Lonewolf (visit his site at jaylonewolf.com) and photographer Bridges Aderhold, among others. Visit gabstudio.com for more details and if you’re in the neighborhood, come on down to the opening! I’d love to meet you!
“The Big To Do” will be auctioned off on Saturday, June 26th in Beverly HIlls at a fundraiser for victims of the earthquake in Haiti. “In the Eye of the Hurricane Beholder” will be auctioned for the same cause in Miami Beach on Saturday July 10th, 2010 at the Alexander Hotel. Four pair of my Spank Me Jeans (C) will be modeled on the runway for a fashion show that same evening and photo shoot of those same jeans will take place on July 7th. Images and links will be available soon!
Seven pieces of my work have been commissioned, painted and installed at Two Star Michelin Chef Josiah Citrin’s restaurant “Melisse” in Santa Monica, California. They hang in the private “Augustin” Dining Room.
I have been exploring and working with plexiglass over the past several months and plan to create more pieces to exhibit as a series. I’m having fun playing with words and color!
Several of my pieces were exhibited in an “Underground” show last month called “Chocolat Art”. A one night only event, there was a lot of buzz and interesting work shown from up and coming artists in Los Angeles.

May 2010:
The past year has been a busy one! I have painted a number of larger pieces and have begun branching out and exploring opportunities in California after successfully creating a number of commissioned works for clients there. Watch this space – lots more news coming soon, including my participation in an Underground Art Exhibition in Culver City later this month and a commissioned painting for Two Star Michelin rated Chef/Owner of Melisse Restaurant, Josiah Citrin!
News from 2008:

The juror for this show is Peter Selz, former curator of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Pretty heady stuff to have been picked; I’m honored to be among 79 artists whose works will be displayed as part of the “Art of Democracy” movement.
